Railway tracks

Over 9,000 metres of track guarantee a flexible and high capacity for your railway logistics.

Our railway infrastructure is a smooth and efficient link between maritime and land transport.

Efficient rail connectivity is truly at the heart of our intermodal business. With an impressive infrastructure stretching over 9,000 metres of track directly in our port areas, we can handle large volumes of goods and entire trainsets in a superb way. Our tracks act as a smooth and strategic link between shipping and the national railway network.

Our facilities in Västerås and Köping are designed to maximise efficiency. In Västerås, we have an 8,000 metre track system, including a smart circular track from the Mälarbanan, which allows trains to run all the way down to the quay for direct transhipment. In Köping, there is a 1,100 metre side track that runs right into the heart of the port area, giving direct access to our terminals. We apply open access, which means that all railway companies with the necessary permits are welcome to use our tracks.
